Terms of Service

Last updated: February 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Calendar FreeSync ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Calendar FreeSync is a web-based service that automatically synchronizes events between Google Calendar accounts. You configure source and target calendars, and the Service copies events from the source to the target based on your settings.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering.

4. Google Calendar Authorization

To use the Service, you must authorize Calendar FreeSync to access your Google Calendar account(s) via Google OAuth. By granting this authorization, you allow us to read events from your source calendar and create events in your target calendar on your behalf.

You may revoke this authorization at any time from within the app or via Google Account Permissions. Revoking access will stop future syncs.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to spam, harass, or abuse others.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the Service without permission.
  • Use the Service in a way that violates Google's Terms of Service or API policies.

6. Free and Paid Plans

Calendar FreeSync offers a free tier with limited features and paid plans with expanded capabilities. Plan details, pricing, and limitations are described on the pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that syncs will be delivered without delay. Calendar sync depends on third-party APIs (Google Calendar) that may be subject to outages or changes outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calendar FreeSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed events, scheduling conflicts, or data loss.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your OAuth tokens will be deleted and syncs will cease.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
