How long does setup take, and do I need technical skills?+
Most users complete setup in just a few minutes. The portal is intentionally lightweight and straightforward, so even non-technical users can get synced quickly.
Does Calendar FreeSync have a calendar view?+
Yes. Pro users get a unified calendar view that shows every connected Google and Outlook calendar in one place, color coded by account, with month, week, and day views. Syncing itself works entirely in the background on every plan.
How syncing works
Is the sync one-way or two-way?+
Each sync connection is one-way by default. For two-way sync, create a second sync going in the opposite direction. Calendar FreeSync includes built-in loop prevention so events never sync back to their source.
How often does Calendar FreeSync sync updates?+
Calendar FreeSync syncs instantly in real time. It uses webhook-based architecture, so when a new event is created, the event is automatically synced from the source calendar to the target calendar immediately.
Will Calendar FreeSync create duplicate events?+
Calendar FreeSync is intelligently designed to prevent duplicate syncing, so your calendars stay clean, accurate, and dependable.
How are conflicts handled if events change in both calendars?+
When updates happen in both calendars, Calendar FreeSync applies clear conflict rules (like latest-update or source-priority logic) to keep everything consistent.
What happens if a calendar connection is disconnected?+
If a calendar is disconnected, nothing will sync during that disconnected period. Once it is reconnected, Calendar FreeSync resumes real-time syncing and automatically catches up on missed updates.

Which calendar platforms do you support (Google, Outlook, Apple, etc.)?+
Calendar FreeSync currently supports the two major providers: Google and Microsoft. iCloud support is on the roadmap and coming soon.

Can people book time with me through Calendar FreeSync?+
Yes. Pro plans include up to 5 customizable booking pages, each with a unique URL you can share. Bookings are automatically scheduled around your synced availability, so both Google and Outlook calendar conflicts are protected.
What happens after someone books a meeting?+
The booking is confirmed and a calendar event is created on your destination calendar automatically. Both you and the booker receive a confirmation email.
Privacy and account
Is my calendar data secure and private?+
Yes. Calendar FreeSync uses secure connections and only accesses the data required for syncing. Permissions are handled through provider authorization and can be revoked at any time.
Can I pause, cancel, or delete my account and data anytime?+
Yes. You can pause syncing, cancel your plan, and request account or data deletion whenever you choose.
