What gets synced

Everything you need to stay conflict-free, nothing you did not ask for.

Real-time event sync

New and updated events are synced instantly using webhooks - no polling, no delay.

Busy/free blocking

When an event is synced, a block is automatically created on the target calendar to protect that time slot.

One-way or two-way sync

Choose one-way sync when one calendar is your source of truth, or two-way for full bi-directional alignment.

No duplicates

Calendar FreeSync tracks which events it has already synced so your calendars stay clean and accurate.

Secure OAuth connections

Calendar access is granted through each provider's official OAuth flow. We never store your calendar passwords.

Automatic reconnect

If a calendar connection drops, Calendar FreeSync resumes syncing and catches up on missed events once reconnected.

How it works

Three steps from sign-up to fully synced.

1

Connect your calendars

Sign in and authorize Calendar FreeSync to access your Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook accounts via OAuth.

2

Configure your sync

Choose which calendar is the source, which is the target, and whether you want one-way or two-way sync.

3

Stay in sync automatically

That's it. Calendar FreeSync keeps both calendars aligned in real time from that point forward.

Integration questions

Do I need a paid Microsoft or Google account?+

No. Calendar FreeSync works with free personal Google accounts and free Microsoft accounts. Business accounts (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) are also supported.

Does Calendar FreeSync sync event details or just block time?+

By default, Calendar FreeSync creates a block on the target calendar to protect the time slot. Event details like title and description stay private. This keeps your work calendar from leaking into your personal one and vice versa.

Is Apple Calendar or iCloud supported?+

Not yet. iCloud Calendar support is on the roadmap and coming in a future update. Right now Calendar FreeSync supports Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook (including Office 365 and Outlook.com).

Can I sync more than two calendars?+

Yes, with a Pro plan you can set up multiple sync connections. For example, one from Google to Outlook and a separate one from Outlook to another Google account.

What happens if I delete an event from one calendar?+

When you delete an event, Calendar FreeSync detects the deletion via webhook and removes the corresponding block from the target calendar automatically.
